It was wonderful to walk around in yesterdayโ€™s sunshine, surrounded by flowers & the buzz of bees going about their business. Snapped this Garden Bumblebee poking its long tongue into a crocus #bee

Thatโ€™s a great result Liz. Zero in my trap last night. Tonight looks more favourable weather wise so Iโ€™ll take another punt ๐Ÿคž

Success! ๐ŸŽ‰ 6:3 from last nightโ€™s moth trap with two December moths the highlight; new for my garden. Also LBAM (no surprise there) & a Blairโ€™s Shoulder-Knot. The question is now, do I continue or put the trap away until next year? ๐Ÿค” #teammoth #decembermoth

Thanks Liz. Put trap on at 4pm tonight. On my wish list: December moth, Mottled Umber or Scarce Umber. Bit windy at the moment, hopefully the mild evening will bring a few moths out ๐Ÿคž

Not a bad haul, shame about the escapee Chestnut but at least you spotted it. I had absolutely zero again but will keep going as Iโ€™m determined to see a December moth before the yearโ€™s out ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคž

Same for me in my Herts garden, the first โ€˜Woganโ€™ since I started moth trapping in April. Not a bad run I suppose. Would love to see a December moth before the yearโ€™s out
