December Moth

Success! 🎉 6:3 from last night’s moth trap with two December moths the highlight; new for my garden. Also LBAM (no surprise there) & a Blair’s Shoulder-Knot. The question is now, do I continue or put the trap away until next year? 🤔 #teammoth #decembermoth

Thanks Liz. Put trap on at 4pm tonight. On my wish list: December moth, Mottled Umber or Scarce Umber. Bit windy at the moment, hopefully the mild evening will bring a few moths out 🤞

Not a bad haul, shame about the escapee Chestnut but at least you spotted it. I had absolutely zero again but will keep going as I’m determined to see a December moth before the year’s out 😁🤞
