I really need to start using tumblr more regularly again I think...

I know my biggest issue is just giving up on myself. It's hard to undo that feeling of "it's not worth it to put in the effort to do anything", but hopefully someday I'll get over that

Feels like a lot of grim things happening these days, huh... Payment processors being payment processors, age verifications, manga and rom sites collapsing one by one...

It does wear me out, but I really just need to draw and make things anyway. I gotta get over myself and just make something

I have the physical hardware brainrot lately...

Trying to figure out a good setup for everything and it's very confusing... GC and PS2 are set, Dreamcast though.. scart or component.. and then do I go the "ODE" route and mod it..? And then there's 3rd-5th gen stuff...

So much money to invest too..

Speaking of the current collection now that everything shipped

One day Billy Hatcher.. Eternal Darkness.. Doshin, Wario World, Nintendo Puzzle Collection..

... various Mario/Nintendo/Capcom 5 games... maybe Sonic too I guess.. maybe.. Cubivore/Gotcha Force.. maybe even the Disney basketball game..

Also I got this from ebay but it is very cosmetically damaged.. the photos were taken at the perfect angle to blur and hide anything so I didn't pay attention to it... it still seems to play at least?

I don't fully get the cable issues...

Using F-Zero GX's controller configuration, I watch the stick flicker when I wiggle the wire, and I drive into walls too.. the C stick is always drifting too.. It does this regardless of the port

.. But my Wii U adapter on Dolphin doesn't give me the issues..?

Today's venting:
- Work was pain, just me and nonverbal nepo hire
- I've been delaying going to the pharmacy and ran out of my meds without realizing..
- My GameCube controller... is... dying........ (I was testing capturing my physical cube.. random drifts.. when I wiggle the wire it disconnects..)

People are posting movie 3x3s now and I am not a movie person but here's my 9 movies

The kind of movies I like are the kind that make me feel a deep sickness in my stomach that make me never want to watch them again... if they make me feel something they are then good...

I did my taxes (including the annoying local taxes), finished my apartment recertification with them (my rent is going up but I'll find out by how much in the coming weeks/months), doing the adult things...

I still have no idea what I'm going to do after Easter, but need a new job.....

Called into work after being kept awake all morning by someone loudly hammering into the wall next to my bed for the past four hours.. this will be a day...

Also an apartment near mine caught fire recently according to the manager...? A guy on oxygen fell asleep while smoking a cigar and it landed on a pile of magazines and aerosol sprays or something.. maintenance noticed immediately and everyone's fine but now he's evicted this week apparently

Tonight was a do-nothing night but I got to enjoy the return of the heck and see some cool artists post cool arts and I finally got started on sketching arts myself.. running into curious issues with my tablet though that I need to figure out (mainly the second monitor not being a forced resolution)
