the biggest one is In Stars and Time, a timeloop rpg (and if you're following me from the ace gamedev pack, it has two ace characters 🖤🤍💜)

So the topic of 'Top FIFTY Favorite Pokemon' came up one day.

I do want to mention, I do appreciate that the Rivals dev team is willing to nerf strong characters/polarizing strategies as much as they have been. After seeing what buff culture did to games like Smash Ultimate and FighterZ, I'm kind of 100% here for this approach.

That said I was definitely expecting Slade yesterday, but Absa's cool too.

My expectation was for Absa to be teased again in this trailer, and then fake-teased during the final reveal, only for her to turn around and say "No, I'm joining the fight too;" turning it into a double reveal. Would've been a pretty cool way to cap off the reveals.

If you live in the same state as your friends, that's usually no problem, but I was kind of hoping to do some sharing with the chums on my plan who don't live anywhere near me, and that's just not possible.

Agreed, though it is a shame that the other feature - the Virtual Game Card sharing - appears to be massively gimped. Even with NSO Family Members who are on the same plan as you, you simply cannot share, unless you do Local Wireless (and you still need Internet while doing it for it to function!).

Is there a planet near us right now? Because I’ve been noticing a larger-than-usual star in the night sky the past couple of weeks.

For those who don't play Rivals, when Kragg is holding a rock, he can't be put into tumble, giving you access to the fakest crap imaginable.

(Plus 1 cool sequence I hit later on that day.)

After simply being able to enjoy the freedom of movement Maypul provides, getting double dunks is definitely my second-favorite thing about this character.

So apparently, when you parry Fleet's Dair, back upwards, it still spikes her. Reminds me of how a reflected Mega Man Dair would do the same thing.

This clip isn't anything too crazy, I just wanted to make sure the recording technology worked. Definitely highlights the perils of Air Armada even for Kragg, though.

Of course, I've played Snake Eater and Ultimate before 2024. But the MGS HD Collection let me get re-acquainted with the former, and competing in the latter has an allure that warrants it still being on the list.
