I can say with complete certainty that you will lose nothing by just ignoring The Game Awards. You do not need to give it any cultural power. It is purely a vehicle for marketing, and an ongoing insult to the people and craft we all take part in.

I don't like acknowledging this asshole at all, but I do believe these sort of rage bait content creators are detrimental to the medium of games, they take up so much of the space and dominate conversations with this behaviour. And they just move on to the next person they're going victimize.

Also the camera is the true final boss of this game, oh my god it is so ass sometimes

But I'll have much more to say on this game in the full review. Eventually.

And I may get heat for saying this, but I personally would've enjoyed it a lot more if the game was exactly the same, but all the bosses did like 30-50% less damage.

I don't get satisfaction from trying the same fight over and over, but understand that others do, and this is a game for them, not me

Sekiro is absolutely the hardest game I've ever finished.

It's a VERY well made game. And I wish I could say I enjoyed it, but...I really didn't.

And I'm not saying the game is bad or they should've made it differently, it's just not the type of game I enjoy.

Today I beat True Corrupted Monk in Sekiro on my 2nd Try!

By fighting her normally for the 1st two phases, and then using the same Fireworks cheese that I used to beat the original purple version on phase 3

I am still not good at this game, but I might actually be able to finish it...
