5/ The 3rd key, Captain Dan Coates. In 23-24 when he was injured and out of the lineup the team lost. It seems we are getting a repeat this season with Coates not playing for the last three games (star goalie Hartley is out too...).
Watch the bench, is Coates there leading?
4/ Connor Fields is in a scoring slump. His shooting percentage is under 10%. This is because defenses have adapted to how he has had success. The Knighthawks have to adapt their offense.
Will we see a new offensive scheme from head coach Mike Hasen?
3/ Expect Bandits' Connor Farrell to go over 60% and stiffle any Knighthawk scoring runs.
2/ Joe Post served very well at the face off spot in 2023-24, but declined to rejoin the team. The Knighthawks failed to bring in a replacement. Any D1 grad with better than 60% wins could fill this gap, why hasn't a player been added?
