Pope Leo is the spiritual leader that our world needs. I pray that his wisdom will be received by world leaders.

As a Southern Baptist, I can agree with your comment. Where is the Baptist push back on the abuse of human lives? Where are the critics of Christian religious persecution taking place in detention facilities in America, not foreign countries? Thanks for your post.

So true. The fool in Psalm 14 believes in God, but doesn't think they will be held accountable for their actions. Thank for your post.

Pope Leo's entire message is worth reading and re-reading.
I'm thankful for his leadership at this time in history.

The reason why God commanded us to not kill in the 10 Commandments, no less, is because God creates humans and prohibits humans to take His role.

Thanks for your insightful posts.

I am convinced that the preferential choice for the poor is a source of extraordinary renewal both for the Church and for society, if we can only set ourselves free of our self-centeredness and open our ears to their cry.

It is well worth our time to read the complete text of Pope Leo's words.

I think the phrase, "the preferential choice of the poor," is an excellent description of the Bible teaching from Genesis to Revelation. Thank you Catholic church and Pope Leo.

Thank you. Hate is a very powerful force, but love is greater. No greater love or power has been shown than that of the Son of God on the cross. Self-giving love is a mighty force, especially in the hands of our loving God.

"Touch the hearts of those imprisoned by hatred," is a prayer that I will pray with you. What a profound thought and worthy of bringing to the Lord. Thanks so much.

Isaiah is one of my favorite books in the Bible because it speaks so profoundly to our times. I'll have to read chapter 34 today. Thanks.
