5) Also, because I feel like it should be said even if it doesn’t, this has nothing to do with my size. I’m very happy being fat and I continue to exist and learn to love myself. For those interested, a few things I got going on is lumbar stenosis, osteophytes, osteoarthritis, and scoliosis

4) Does anyone out there (this very much feels like shouting in the void but I think that’s what I like about this rn lmaoo) have any other “cheat codes” to help them through the day? I’d love to know!

3) Why is that? That I find something that helps me do tasks and chores around the house but I’m embarrassed. No one would even know if I didn’t type this. And I know this isn’t an original thought, that many other people with similar situations go through the exact same process using mobility aids

2) I tried to stand, but I realized I couldn’t. Today for the first time I pulled up a kitchen chair in front of my sink and got to work. I IMMEDIATELY felt so much better and got everything done I needed to. But right after, I was met with this intense shame that I couldn’t stand to just do dishes

1)So not a lot of people know this, and I rarely talk about it, but I am disabled. I can’t stand or walk for long. But today, after a standing shower that typically takes all my energy for the day, I realized I need to do dishes, make coffee for tomorrow, and other stuff standing in front of my sink
