First of all, Donald Trump is not president right now. He's a private citizen. He does not have access to presidential powers. He does not have the ability to do any of that. Please understand that TikTok's decision to name Trump in the notification is a choice. They are signaling that they have agreed to privately collaborate with Donald Trump and the Trump administration. For all of those concerns that people were saying that TikTok is gonna be used as a propaganda tool by the Chinese, understand they're using it as a propaganda tool for the right. Now, I want you all to put all the pieces together because what this effectively means is that every mass social media platform in the United States has been taken over by the right wing, with the exception of Blue Sky (but Blue Sky is still very small, relatively).

@tillietheclown.bsky.social and I have both had so many roles in everything that we do I guess this was always the natural progression. But it's uniquely beautiful to see each other's witness marks in one another. Especially when it's something we wouldn't recognize ourselves.

Meet Tillie! Together we have done some ridiculous shit and definitely helped each other grow as artists in 10 + years of collaboration.

It's been amazing to watch them blossom as a costume designer in their own right, while everything I know of photography I know from them.

I love how Reuters frames this as a problem with Chinese apps instead of highlighting that THE EU HAS A DATA PRIVACY LAW THAT WORKS AND THE US DOESN'T.

I especially love how the company which NOYB has filed the most complaints against, Meta, isn't mentioned at all.

So I was right. Did end up finishing the dress form yesterday. Needed to figure out a different situation for the clamp to adjust the height but it was fine in the end.

Still need to do the arms, but I can't afford the polyfill until Friday lol
