How employers can promote physical activity among workers: 3 messages based on research Getting more physical activity at work or during commutes might make physical activity goals more feasible for working people. Here are evidence-based ways employers can help.

Movement matters so, for me, a physically active commute by bike means accomplishing two goals at once. I live close enough to work to do this but there are other ways our workplaces can support #PhysicalActivity & #health Via @ca.theconversation.com theconversation.com/how-employer... #MakeYourMove

Along with poor cardiometabolic health in an 'Early Employment group' as has been seen in previous studies. Two other groups 'Higher Education' and 'Extended Education' were more healthy.

As researchers we could help by giving young people more of a platform to talk about health, combat misinformation, and share their own experiences.

Further evidence that diets are pretty stable through later adult life (British Whitehall II cohort study). Nice paper from Mengmei Wang et al. @ucl.ac.uk showing UPF trajectories and links to CVD and CHD. Reinforces the need to develop healthy dietary behaviours earlier in life.
