Electoral votes don't get cast until December, so technically he has not won until then, but projections tend to line up with who the electors are "supposed" to vote for.

It was only just a couple of years ago that I got a drawing tablet, and even still I started most of the drawings on the phone before sending it over my pc.

What I am trying to get at, I suppose, is it really is never too late. Maybe my method isn't yours, but just doing a little bit each day helps

Like, yeah I made maps for our dnd and stuff, but that was more or less just throwing things together using a template I found online. All the swords I did, and most of the dnd art I did for the last few years, like I said, were just on my phone with my finger.

Yo friendo, I understand that feeling of not knowing how to get started with it and all that. Despite my architecture stuff, actual digital art was not something I did until like, a few years ago, and most of that was because I just started doodling on a sketch app on my phone during work.

But seriously, I am so overjoyed to have finally finished my book. Writing a book has always been a dream of mine, and to have gotten this far alone is enough. I look forward to the future of this project, but I need a bit of a break before I conquer edits.

After 1 year and 3 months, I have finally finished the first draft of my book. At 122,743 words long, it is way to big for a first-time author to possibly publish, but that, my friends, is what editing is for. This bad boy is going to be broken up into three books! Trilogy time!

So, my book is now over the 100k mark as far as word-count goes. I stopped hunting word count a while ago, since now that I am so close to the end, I more or less am just writing without worrying about hitting and specific landmarks. But 100k is pretty cool, and also a lot of words!

Unfortunately it is completely unconnected to the book I am writing right now and is more of a thing for like the 6th book I have planned so whoopsie I did something way ahead of time and without knowing if it will ever come to anything.

I finally got the energy and time to write some more! I also dabbled in composing a song for the world which was not something I was intending to do with my time (probably could have written more, but hey). It is a five part chant (S.A.T.Bar.B.) and its connected to the primary religion of the world

I am very much saddened by the fact that all of my energy toward writing disappeared due to work stress. I am hopeful that it will return soon, though. Still want to finish this book!

So, last year I started writing my first full novel, and I'm currently at over 70k words on it. I have hopes to finish the first draft for the end of the year, but a lot of that depends on motivation and availability, both of which have often been lacking recently. Hopefully, thought, I can do it!
