I don't watch racing but I'm always happy for you when the race was fun π«‘
The baby looked at you?
Max Payne 2 (2003)
Paradise Cracked is one of those games where a single bad idea destroys the whole experience...
It's a Russian cyberpunk tactical RPG with a very stylish presentation... but even outside of combat you're stuck in an old-X-COM like turn-based mode, where all NPCs get their own turn... It's SO SLOW!π
That UI looks like a Winamp skin (complementary)
Very frustrating that they gobbled up a swath of my favorite developers and now I won't even buy their games because I refuse to put more money into Microsoft's genocide-complicit bank account
Me in 2000: no one actually talks like this, but it's fun to pretend
Me in 2026: these villains are way too subtle, this is totally unrealistic
Part of how we can support indie devs who are taking a principled stance by signing our Boycott Xbox Pledge and refusing to receive money from Microsoft is to financially support their projects ourselves!!! Consider supporting All Will Rise π΅πΈπ
"Your appointment to FEMA will be finalized within the week" -ass conversation
So THAT'S where it was born from. I assumed it simply congealed in a gutter somewhere
Glad it helped! Here's a correction to the BFME2 post that is kind of buried

Stop, I'm already going to buy it, you don't have to keep selling me on it
Holy shit I watched this muted and was thinking how funny this would be set to yakety sax and then unmuted and just bravo πππ
I honestly think it would have been received better out of the gate if they left the soundtrack alone lol. That said, it's a *mod*, I'm glad they remixed the music even if I prefer the original score, they did a good job and it's a way to experience a favorite game in a different way.
It's basically this framework for rolling your own version of the game with nearly everything toggleable, like original maps vs revision map & soundtrack, hd textures, it integrates the fantastic Lay-D Denton mod and has a branch with Nameless Mod on Steam Workshop. All super seamless on Steam Deck!
I've always thought of The Revision mod (which is on Steam) as a great remix of a favorite song, but I checked it out again and it's massively expanded.
Serves you right for uninstalling in the first place π
Deus Ex - The Nameless Mod
Oh THAT'S what I did wrong π
Well that's only cuz YOU don't love the inXile deep cut Hunted: The Demon's Forge
I've never played Minecraft outside of time with my kids, but I will say there is a lot of potential there for younger kids. Lots of systems interacting w/ other systems. I wouldn't be surprised to see kids who played with Minecraft the way I played with Legos gravitating toward systems-heavy games.
This is lies and slander. I've asked and you clearly don't have the same appreciation as I do for the classic romantic comedy "The Holiday (2006)" starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack "Jack Black" Black
It took me a sec but that's what I figured lol
Genuinely astonishing statistic about HoMM3. The kids are alright π₯Ή
One of the first things that struck me back when this account was "Y2k era pc games aesthetics" on twitter (rip) was how many younger people were intensely interested in older games. I didn't expect it and it was incredible to see.
That's an absolutely incredible statistic

Chat, which one did we prefer, the PlayStation Portable or PlayStation Vita?
Solid question, cuz as far as the games library goes I feel like it's PSP hands down, but the vita effectively contains a psp with a programmable second analog (especially if you jailbreak it, you can even get the full psp xmb experience). The vita did get some solid indie support, though
