But yes a agree the academy was severely under funded and we lost our full time status which placed restrictions on what we could offer and impacted the distances we could recruit from

I was a “pro scout” for EFC for ten years (scouting youngsters already signed to pro clubs) and it’s the scouting network that implements the strategy.
