Most Americans don't get *any* pension anymore, but Congress gave itself a pension after only five years of work.

Our "representatives" aren't working for us, they are [barely] working for themselves.

That would be a wonderful thing to see. I hope she succeeds.

I agree. I read that with only five years of service, she will not receive an immediate pension or retiree health insurance benefits upon resignation. I read she will have to purchase her healthcare and will not be eligible for her pension until 62 years old. I'm curious if she was scared off.

She makes some points about Trump, corporations and billionaires that I agreed with her on. She is for the ACA subsidies. Surprised she didn't stay and fight for that. Scared maybe?

There is a longer video of her resignation. It's interesting. I mean she is still a hateful person and makes it clear on the video she is against abortion and transgender people. She does make some good points against Trump though. I don't think she's done. It's weird to me she is doing this now.
