Went back tonight.
If Arsepalooza grows legs then I can easily see a Wenger track and an Arteta track for the weekend.
There's always the Emery track where you drink 3 beers to another's 30 and somehow you're hungover one but don't think that'll be too popular?
This is a story worth elaborating on sir!
My gawd is that Unai Emery's music!?
Imagine being raised my parents who lived through WW2, who's parents lived through WW1, then living through the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Iraq War (pts 1 & 2), then you finally get to be in control of everything and when you're facing a problem, your answer is... War.
This all makes good sense. Would love to see it but doubt the PL will punish the Man City ATM so hard.
Great take though. Like the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference... the opposite of becoming the best through cheating isn't a 1 season relegation, it's making them irrelevant.
with an honorary fourth official there for him to berate!
Just realized that this happening would be the ultimate asterisk every critic and rival fan are begging for. Don't need to hear that forever.
Good points. They're already chucking every asterisk they can at us. City getting docked points this season would be every critics dream come true.
They'd go down for one year and come right back up
Spurs are an easy 6 points every season! π I think I prefer this one as well but then again, City will come right back up in one year and then we're back to business as usual. Spurs, on the other hand, might take a while to get out of the Championship.
Arsenal fans, would you rather...
A) Watch Tottenham get relegated this season?
OR
B) Have City get a 70 pt deduction this season that ensures our title but it bumps Tottenham out of the relegation zone?
Right there with you
I'm not close enough to any games to do this well and yeah, personal boycotts don't change anything.
I think the best I can do is post something at the local soccer bar but that feels like screaming into the void.
The "Premier League is the best league" narrative is on the ropes
There is definitely contact. I wouldn't want that given against us but I would also expect it to be given against us lol
PGMOL were getting ready to launch a transfer bid for that ref then withdrew it when he gave a penalty to Arsenal
I think it was his first one in a long time and only a handful ever. Can see why after tonight.
Did someone forget to tell the ref this isn't the Turkish league?
Was pretty shocked to see that
Squeaky bum time just after we've scored a goal?
Not looking forward to this!
European refs give European penalties
Soft but I'll take it
Very 2020 coded
Leverkusen technical areas are nearly half an acre. Might even be big enough for Arteta!
So the player that shouldn't have been on the pitch is the one that scores. Classic.
While Arsenal fans are here, I'm going to plug arsepalooza.com again...

Taking a page out of Rosenior's second leg "sit back when you absolutely need to win" playbook
A bit boring first half but we're not in a bad spot. 0-0 away from home in the first leg is fine.
Need the attackers to find each other and we'll get plenty of chances. Not too worried about Leverkusen and a goal or two would give us a massive advantage heading into the 2nd leg.
We got this.
Big Gabi literally took that one on the chin. Never doubt that man's commitment to Arsenal!
Gyokeres just needs to stay within 6' of Andrich at all times from here on out
