A crazy 24 hours. My name was drawn in the Season Ticket lottery to purchase Super Bowl tickets at face value.
My wife and I just booked our trip and will be at Levi Stadium to cheer on our beloved Seahawks.
My voice is shot, my ears are ringing, I have the worst stress headache but I don't care. #Seahawks Super Bowl Bound!!!
Congrats to my nephew, Birk, for also making the Olympic team! Can't wait to head to Italy to cheer him and his sister, Svea, on as they compete.

With my Seahawks wrapping up the #1 seed last night, and having won my fantasy league last weekend it feels very weird to have nothing riding on the outcome of any of the games going on today. Looking forward to just enjoying Red Zone all day.

Two years ago if you had told me I was going to get up early to run a 5k on Thanksgiving morning I would have thought you were crazy. If you had said I would run it with a sub 7 minute mile pace then I would swear nothing is real and we are living in a simulation. So here we are..
Predator Badlands was a crazy, fun, over the top, sci-fi love fest.

Big Seahawks win! Mariners sweep Houston! Wrexham even won yesterday. About as perfect a sports weekend as I've experienced in a long time. (If only the Sounders had not given up that extra time goal, and hoping the Kraken hold on).

An adventurous day: found a friendly girl without a collar wandering in the neighborhood. After Susi did a local search, I drove her to the vet. Thankfully, she was chipped with updated info. I spoke to her dad, learning her name was Gabby, and we facilitated a happy reunion.
I absolutely appreciate the info. We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, so that will be perfect to swing by and check out. Between that and Trader Sam's, I'll be lucky to make it to the park :).

A game and 1/2 into this new season and I'm already tired of this Seahawks offense trying to be cute. They were supposed to be a run first, smash mouth running team. If that is the case, run the freaking ball.
A new PR by a pretty big amount. There was a group of high school track kids running with me, and I kept a pretty good pace with them. After, they gave me some high fives with a "You are in really good shape." I chose to ignore the unspoken but implied, "for being an old man." :)

Planning my wife's 50th for over a year. Trying to create a once in a lifetime experience to go to Club 33 in Disneyland. Found a guy! Get everything booked for end of this month. Find out this week he can't take us. So if anyone out there knows someone who can help me, I would be forever indebted.
