My issue with world and wilds stories (aside from the terrible writing) was that those two games constantly put you on rails or made you do something story related like investigate tracks or something instead of actually progressing the game.

Rise I guess was okay with it but that game didn’t-

I’d be down for these games to have an actual story, I just think there’s better ways to achieve that than what wilds did.
