there's not much of a difference in lifespans. All races in the setting emerged from the same ancestor way back when! Firstborns (includes elves, humans, dwarves, etc) in general dont differ much, Maniforms do tend to live longer/shorter but even then it isn't long (you can check #SpindleLore !)

honestly seeing them makes feel affectionate/happy? Just seeing them "grow up" even across these (and knowing the hundreds of pieces I've drawn of them both) makes them feel all the more alive to me, you can even almost sense the "maturity" as they grow older, or am i just crazy lmao
