Also this means I can finally delete That Other App off my phone & will only be using this site if I decide to reopen the fest

I’ve decided to close the fest - I might decide to reopen it at a later date (maybe summer or fall) if I feel like I’m up to modding a fest. This was a funny idea, but I think it might be too niche & I’m competing against at least 4 bigger, established fests.

there aren’t any claims by tomorrow (January 30) around 10:30-11pm EST I’m gonna drop the fest unless someone has any objections?

Still no claims & I’m seriously considering closing the fest if no one signs up after a week. I was really excited about this idea but I know I’m running against several major multi fests & at least 1 fandom specific fest so it was an uphill battle to begin with

Should I change the dates? Drop the fest completely? I really like this idea & I want to see it happen but a bunch of “maybes” isn’t enough to convince me to keep going. Does anyone here have any ideas? Please share them with me

I posted a poll on The Other Site to get a feel for if I should continue the fest or not. So far “maybe” is winning & I’m not sure what to do. I’m participating in 2 other fests, my own daily writing project, & have a life (shocking I know!) so I have to plan my time diligently
