I’ll never get to message him to find out what he thought and have an hour where I’m just his nerdiest daughter and we chat about it and he tells me all the plot points he recognises from the comics and neither of us has to worry the conversation will get awkward
So I’m sad today, apparently the new Marvel movie is fantastic but I know I’m not at all strong enough to go see it. Marvel was my father’s thing, his big thing, we’ve made like 10k selling off his comics collection because he loved it so much and he’ll never see it.
