I think in the future id def like a new, full, third person RE action game with the pacing and gameplay of the leon sections but I don't mind the split survival horror/action approach here

for the final final boss I didn't have to move at all it was so funny

leon sections are really fun, I was using all the ammo types way more than I usually do in these games cause it felt like trying to stun guys by shooting their legs with the pistol was way less reliable than usual, may be intentional cause grace had no trouble doing it & she only has pistols

really good, only major issue is that I think the early grace sections can get boring there’s a bit too much of the indie horror game style of gameplay where are you waiting for the unkillable guy to move through their patrols

there’s an insanely fun fan service boss deep into re9 and everything about the reveal is hype moments and aura, then for the fight they just kinda die cause of leons parry its really funny

also opening the inventory as leon after doing a grace section is so funny u could live in that guys brief case meanwhile grace is struggling trying to find room in her tiny pockets for all the puzzle shit and key items she is given

i like how u got endless axes in re4 remake as leon and then grace has the consumable knives... i love modern action re combat so much and the leon sections are the most fun i've had playing re ever maybe...
