Un jeune répond depuis son PC. Il a une platine 33tours devant lui et une collection de disques: "Ah moi j'ai carrément numérisé mes vinyles et je les lis avec un logiciel open source. Tant qu'à faire, tu vires Windows et passes à Linux. Un vieux barbu est dans ce qui ressemble à une salle des machines, avec un écran arrondi. Il tape: "Bof... L'intérêt de passer à Linux alors que tu as acheté un PC... Moi j'ai fabriqué ma propre machine avec des pièces de récup' de sous-marins soviétiques.

Boulet est surpris par un "Tac" quand quelqu'un lance un gravier sur sa fenêtre depuis l'extérieur. Depuis la rue, une jeune femme en doudoune lui crie "Alors moi je trouve que le mieux c'est de ne pas avoir de PC et de juste chanter ses airs préférés très fort !" Elle se met à entonner "Scatman": "Heeey beeee baboobeeba! Bee Ba boo bee ba ! I'm a scatmaaan !"

Tandis que la voix à l'extérieur continue à chanter "Scatman", une voix désincarnée résonne dans l'appartement. La voix: "Personnellement je me suis désincarné pour devenir un être de pure énergie, connecté à la noosphère. Ici dans l'espace racine de moins Pi, je résonne en harmonie avec toutes les playlists de l'univers. Souriant, Boulet répond: "Ah ! Ça a l'air cool ! Et il y a aussi des podcasts ?" La voix: "Ah non, ça pour le coup c'est plutôt dans l'espace racine de moins oméga. Dehors, on entend un dernier "scaaatmaaan !" qui résonne.

...absolutely incredible. Here's what Medieval Bologna would have looked like when all its towers were intact. Florence didn't have so many but did have dozens, so the richest part of the city center would have looked much like this. Much to the despair of the city fire brigade! 11/?
