I’ve been an iPhone user for about 10 years now but have considered going back so I’m curious: what do you find is better on iOS? Why would you choose iOS over Android?

Notifications are easier to get to on Android too: you pull down anywhere from the Home Screen, on iOS you reeeeeach up to the top and… no that’s control centre, try again, reeeeach… no that’s control centre again, try again… reeeeach… ah there it is.

I personally prefer things as close to the bottom as possible. Arc has probably the nicest tab management I’ve seen on any browser. It would also satisfy high or low thumbers 🙂

You scroll up (swipe down). It feels pretty intuitive to me.

…look through them. I kinda forget I can scroll down for more results now. There’s just something about the UX that feels off. Almost as if you turned iOS reachability mode on permanently and therefore permanently lost the bottom of the screen. Hope this helps.

So… I like it but… any chance items could _start_ at the bottom and you scroll up instead? Orion have an option to do this with their tabs. I feel this would be especially more useful with search suggestions where comfort mode currently feels like it hides things as opposed to encouraging me to…

Apple, feature request: disable iPhone’s raise to wake when using the torch. When you’re trying to view something in the dark, the last thing you need is a bright phone screen lighting up directly back at you 🤦‍♂️ <- me shielding my face from my phone.

@quiche.industries Hi 👋 This doesn't happen often but the only example I can confidently link to is from MY site 😭 With Quiche the top of the screen isn't tinted but it is with Safari. I have the meta theme-color tags in place 🤷‍♂️

Nope, all standard. Large text is off, so is bold. And the slider in Display & Brightness > Text Size is in the middle.
