After he complained about the summer transfer window of 2023, I asked him at a press conference if he said to the board what he said to us in the media. He just gave a flat 'no' and quickly moved the conversation on. Always thought it was a strange approach.

The Celtic board's shenanigans in this transfer window are inexcusable. But they don't explain away that diabolical display against FC Kairat. A club that have parted with, eh, all of £280,000 in transfer fees for signings over the past two years...

The existence of Ceefax and Teletext - who would put up PA reports instantly - almost got me lynched when Celtic were in Batumi (and I was doing the trip for PA on the fly). Complete comedic farce.

Pat Woods was just the most generous, learned, humble and special man. He elevated Celtic's literary tradition to place it at the zenith among football clubs. He wrote about Celtic's history and became a truly honourable part of it - though typically blanched at being told so. God rest his soul.

It is a piece of nonsense official Celtic FC won't come on here. And I realise I am part hypocrite. I ride both horses attempting to sell my wares. I wasn't on any social media until 15 months ago. And, frankly, I had better mental health. Just being honest.
