I’m so tired of people being snobby about film over TV when TV just gave us two of the most incredible, well crafted hours of storytelling I’ve seen in forever. What #Severance and #TheWheelOfTime achieved this week puts most mainstream cinema to shame.

It's SUCH a racket. A private monopoly creaming public money into dividends and then screaming for a public bailout when everything breaks. It makes me furious.

So glad you guys are loving it x

Director Ciaran Donnelly and DOP Christopher Norr did such an amazing job of framing and lighting these shots, and the new aspect ratio meant that closer shots felt contextualised and embedded in the wider world. A joy to cut this episode.

And surprisingly, after rewatching Episode 2 a few more times, as much as I've said I don't enjoy Tower politics, I loved that episode and it's largely Tower politics! Though, more Black Ajah hunt, healing Mat, Min viewings, Mat & Min angst, and the royal fam.
