A majority of tickets will cost less, some up to £1.50 per trip.

Any increases will be small (20p) and easily offset through extra flexibility.

The move paves the way for rail coming into the @BeeNetwork from 12/26.

Greater Manchester launches 24/7 free bus trial

Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham has launched a second trial of 24/7 free bus travel for older and disabled people across the city.

Finally, the 2nd trial on removing the 9.30am restriction on older and disabled people’s bus passes starts on 1/11/25.

It will last 30 days and help us make a decision on whether we can remove it permanently.

Another improvement launching today is live information on the app about the availability of car parking spaces at our Park and Ride sites.

Initially, we are testing the service and four sites but we hope to offer it soon at all locations. 🙌🏻

TravelSafe Live Chat is our response to the call from our residents for a stronger focus on safety on the @BeeNetwork.

We also know some worry about the walk from the bus or tram stop so we’re partnering with @StrutSafe whose volunteers are on hand to help you get home. 👍🏻

The service is supported by an integrated team of police and TravelSafe officers who can be tasked to provide a response.
