4. It is less romanticized than the others. When we think about work, there is often a gap between what it's supposed to be &what it is. We don't always get to save humanity, or build monuments but we almost all know what its like to feel like a cog. How do we work well when it feels meaningless?

Ariel was always my favorite and as a young girl, I always wanted red hair. Still kind of do, sometimes.

This is why I love this song so much. It captured the yearning of my heart. We long for a different and better home, something we do not fully understand.

I have the flu. But I’m mostly sad because I can’t work. I am so glad to have a silly job that brings me this much joy during this really tough season! So looking forward to recovery so I can get back to it.

And then once you you start a life extending treatment, is choosing to stop it euthanasia?

So where is the line between not intervening or not choosing life extending care and euthanasia? This is something I think about and truly don't understand.

In college, I became friends with two people from my now husband's high school completely independently of him. His neighbor (who he wasn't really friends with) was in my sorority. Both of these people ended up in our wedding, more because of their friendship with me than him. Small world.

I know that everyone is choosing this book for this challenge but there is a reason! I can still hear my dad reading this to me aloud when I was a kid and I return to it periodically. Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Trilogy are like old comfortable friends.
