Would you consider vertical growstacks for urban areas? Vegetables, aquaculture and 'ponics, all capable of generating green energy. They reduce the logistical waste from shipping, providing affordable, fresh food to urban centers at a premium of space.

They screwed this all up.

Since I was a kid, looking for ways my father might turn things around and be the dad I saw other kids have, in person or on TV, I've had a fascination with redemption arcs, bizarro universes, and heel-face-turns.

I think about that with a lot of conservatives.

Long ago I tried to tell you there was always redemption possible, not to alienate them.

I was mostly wrong.

Sometimes ignorance is caught early enough that you can still help, still right that course, heal and make an ally.

But by the time they're spewing hate? Containment is all that's left.

Sometimes Imposter Syndrome and Executive Function look like:

"I can't do this. I can't fucking do this. I'm no fucking good and I'm not worthy of the work and why do people waste their time with me and why do I waste my time and I'm never gonna hit deadline and..."

All while writing, DOING it.

Still feels weird when a human is straight up like, "I do not agree, fascism is cool and I subscribe to the boot on my neck. I refuse your sticker!"

Well. A shame. I've liked Targrt for years. But I don't defend shit practices just because I'm a fan. Justification is the mark of a guilty conscience failing to change behavior.
