Yea, there's tons of good ones, mostly I like debian based because I remember most of the cli commands, and its fairly popular/stable so lots of content around it, mostly ive used it on webservers, but also desktop sometimes.

Yea, I was strapped to mine, I used to manage a bunch of web-servers & would get constant notifications, it was liberating to abandon it lol. I still have PTSD from doing that thankless stressful work that never paid enough nor brought me any benefits. 🤣
I guess, but I dont miss it either, I had one for decades, but barely used it much anyway, I prefer to know where im going rather than use GPS, I like a proper camera, & dont like getting texts or emails all day long lol.

Yea, they've been doing that for years, but I suspect the number will start to climb. I've used Linux for many many years myself, but mostly for web servers, I do run local linux too, but its integrated into windows professional edition as virtual machines. I'll go 100% Linux soon if this persists.
At least with Win11 we can use free WinUtil on github to debloat and yeet all ai and cloud slop, that wont be possible in Win12, it wont be capable of damn near anything without cloudslop and aislop & BigBrother sniffing your ass & selling all your data.
