Hey, I read this one a few years back after my mom passed. It was alright, enjoyed it more than perhaps it deserved, one of those pieces of media that catches you at the right point in your life. Some great moments, some aged better than others, but the magical black person bit aged like milk.

This #miniaturemonday I got more progress on my board done! Always cut resistant gloves when working with #mdfterrain!! That cut could have been much worse. After a significant time off, and an entire bottle of airbrush primer, I finally got it ready for the next step!

Dark thunderclouds hover above Fort Rock. An ancient tuff ring located in central Oregon’s Great Basin region. Green high desert flora surrounds the towering rock palisades.

All my life I’ve felt like there was a gathering storm on the horizon and every year it got bigger, darker and closer. All the shrinks told me it was just PTSD from having the shit beaten out of me repeatedly at home, but now I can say with certainty it wasn’t just the physical abuse.
