The actions taken by this former gop & MAGA candidate put the lives of many of my colleagues, friends, and their families at risk. While Pena is being held accountable for his actions it will never remove the trauma the victims may feel or the chilling effect it may have on those wanting to run.

I was honored to stand in solidarity with State Legislators from Texas this week as they fight to ensure Voting Rights are protected, Black and Brown Voters are not disenfranchised, and Protecting our Democracy. We must contlnue to fight this.....When We Fight! We Win!

Last week, I also attended the National Labor Caucus of State Legislators. Labor Unions and Working People are under attack in this country and we must fight back.

Last weekend, I attended the National Conference of Environmental State Legislators in Boston. There were great presentations on how we can protect our environment under this administration.
