equal time regulations and their history is what I was talking about, and if you want to somehow apply and extend the ruling and its meaning to the one ( talkshow) then you can extend it to its original principle which was for news coverage anything calling itself news must give Fair time.

the fair use rule used to apply to news organizations and only by them going on to cable were they able to a sheet the need for fair time. specifying that talk shows on a network be it one of the primary or secondary regardless would also qualify as needing Fair time rules. yes there is cable but.
