So very true! When Trump started purging top military leaders last year, I erroneously thought it should not make much difference, as in theory, all officers take an oath to defend the Constitution & allegedly have "honor & code". Turns out "honor & code" in the remaining officer corps is a myth...

TBF, they ousted lots of top brass first and have done it several times since. Those were probably the ethical and least likely to bend the knee-in other words the most responsible and reasonable.
