Imagine the band geeks and the too cool rockers passed each other with some slight disdain while crossing through the gymnasium until one of them had the creative confidence to ask, "Hey, you wanna jam?" Yeah, that's this. And it's awesome.

Here's the thing. No one song changed the course of post-Beatles popular music history more than Smells Like Teen Spirit. I vividly remember exactly where I was the first time I heard it.

This song is a much better musical representation of Nirvana.

Also very underrated in the Musical Mick Rankings.
