@zackpolanski.bsky.social ate my hamster.

Or at least I think he might have done if he wasn't vegan.

To be fair @zackpolanski.bsky.social , that letter you sent to Lucy Powell after the by election was pretty savage 🤣

Like I said last time, the reason oil and gas prices are going up is not because of the war, it's because the people selling oil and gas have chosen to charge more for it.

Labour getting 10% in *Liverpool* - they're toast!

Only The Greens can stop Reform at the next General Election.

But… could THIS be a solution?

He was first labelled The Prince of Darkness in the late 1980s. We've known he was a nasty piece of work for the best part of 40 years!

Also Labour: "let's support a genocide in which women and children are disproportionately the victims."

Thanks @unitesharon.bsky.social, this is an important step.

Would you be able to clarify who voted for it, and why it is only a reduction, not a cessation? I'm a unite member and I was never informed of a vote.

I think he's hoping there won't *be* a next election.

Gender politics: why young women are going Green Women under 25 are flocking to the populist left faster than young men moving to the populist right

Why confront it? Why not embrace it by crossing the floor?

There's a word for a politician who says different things in private and public: dishonest.

Tony B Liar indeed.

Of course voting for Green Party policies would be great, but I'll still welcome any green votes that are made just to piss off the Daily Mail.

Even they aren't persuaded by it, they just like it because it creates good gambling conditions.

They're moving past manufactured consent and on to "we don't need your consent".

I fear if we don't do something at the next General Election we might not get another.

If I understand the concept of "collective self defence" correctly, if I see someone start a fight outside a pub, then I can start kicking the attacked individual in "collective self defence" of the person who started the fight.

Any lawyers on here who can confirm this?

Want to piss off the Daily Mail? Then vote Green.

Imagine if instead they had heavily invested in renewables; we could have been insulated from oil prices instead of exposed to them!

Liberals will build the gun, load the gun, maintain the infrastructure to support the gun, oppose any resistance for taking apart the gun, hand the gun to Republicans, and then act all surprised when the Republicans fire the gun.

And when leftists say the gun shouldn't exist, WE'RE the issue.

Claude,

Next time the US military asks you for missile targets please give them the coordinates of Mar-a-Lago.

Dear Shabana,
I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank.
You said: “A party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to
make a perilous crossing on small boats.”
I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton
and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government
who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division.
When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there
to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done
in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the
flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney.
As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking
points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I
filled water tanks and picked up litter.
What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop
the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country.
Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it.
It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping
migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and
croissants to refugees and food parcels.
When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She
said “we have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for
refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers
whilst risking death on the seas.”
She said “maybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on
the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …

Dear Shabana,

Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.

This is the wrong policy. In order for this to work we all have to give our IDs, our most sensitive personal data, to the untrustworthy and dangerous tech giants.

Instead, regulate them properly to remove the harmful content for everyone of all ages.

The way you've listed a load fundamentalist Islamic groups, but not listed any of the many fundamentalist Christian or Jewish or Hindu or Atheist etc. groups sure makes it look like a phobia rather than pattern recognition.

It turns out telling people that things can be better is more popular than telling them to fuck off.
