I hopped on Truth Social (don’t…it’s a cesspool of misinfo!) to see if Trump’s “truths” were real. After 10 mins of scrolling, all I could think was: “Sure, grandpa…let’s get you back to bed.” 😬 It’s just rambling. Can any y’all who support him explain how this communication style works for you?

I want kids to ❤️reading, not just score well on reading tests. The “Mississippi Miracle” showed early gains, but they faded when funding dipped. There’s no miracle fix. We must invest in schools, support teachers, & help kids find the joy of reading.

Back in the classroom, if a student didn’t get a concept, I’d try another way to explain. Same here: Maybe this simple graphic can help folks see the Trump Shutdown is on him & his party, not Democrats. Don’t forget…if you’re explaining (like pro-Regime folks) you’re losing.

That’s a NO from me.

The Gov already has too much power (thx to GOP in ‘19). If we change anything, it should be electing State Board of Ed members & letting them hire a qualified super…like local school boards do.

Wary as I am of Stitt steering the cleanup of the mess he himself made, think he got it right with Lindel Fields. Fields isn’t chasing politics…he’s focused on rebuilding trust between the state, local schools, & parents. Actions > words, but I’m lovin’ the words & am looking forward to the actions!

While hopeful about Lindel Fields as state supe, I am seeing old-school “data-driven reform” buzzwords floatin’ about. That usually means more testing, blaming teachers, & profiteering.

I don’t know Gov. Stitt’s pick, Lindel Fields, but trusted folks in my circles say good things. He’s got Career Tech chops, and while I’d prefer K-12 experience, I’m cautiously optimistic he can clean up the Walters mess & bring back professionalism, at the very least. As ever…I’ll be watching! 👀

Seeing lots of conservative hootin’ & hollerin’ (like this follower of mine) about the Trump Shutdown. But a shutdown on the GOP’s watch won’t make America stronger…it’ll speed up their political demise. The only crow eaten’ll be by the party in total control right now: The GOP.

Seeing quite a few of my Republican colleagues & many other Republican electeds explaining how the government shutting down isn’t on them, which, with the government under full control of Republicans, it’s definitely on them. For those doubting if Mr. Incompetent is really resigning…Matt Langston (Walters’ TX/OK puppet master & waste of taxpayer $) confirmed he’ll officially resign tomorrow, right before joining his “anti-union” teachers union. Fear not, y’all…it’s happening.

Ok, ok…no matter how ya feel about the outgoing state superintendent, this pic (supposed to make him look mean & strong 😂) really does give strong standing-up-quickly-because-he-couldn’t-tell-if-he-farted-or-pooped vibes and it’s mildly disturbing lol. Who’s his media expert?? 💨 or 💩??

The “OK lawmaker” is my colleague Rep. Ellen Pogemiller…she raised alarms on Walters long ago & brought receipts. Back then, no action. Now that he’s off to lead the “Teacher Freedom Alliance” (one of the orgs he boosted in his emails)…the evidence has gotta be there now, yeah?

The absolute best part of the middle school-level trolling by Gov. Gavin Newsom (toward Trump, but also toward 2028 presidential hopefuls, like DeSantis) is the conservative-leaning news coverage!! I mean…just look at this glorious headline!!!

Let’s not belittle & disparage teachers (they’re indeed miracle workers as Dr. Brad states), focus less on forcing outcomes, invest in an army of mental health counselors (& other holistic supports) for our students, & the outcomes will take care of themselves, I promise!
