The Playstation 2 turns 25 today. Some of my favorites from the console.

Some of the most important games of all time and they all released in 2001. One of those years!

Man, I was meaning to check out Haunting Grounds this month. Might try to fit it in, but super intrigued with that one.

The PS2 released 25 years ago and serves as a reminder that you don't need a Super Mario 64 or Halo to launch one of the best consoles of all time. There were good games at launch, no doubt (SSX or DW2 for example), but this list might serve well for future console launch discourse:

Developers are not the corporation! I get it, but often times these situations are examples of the workers themselves airing their grievances through the work. Maybe it’s cringe or maybe it falls flat, I don’t know, but the important thing is that it is almost always their voice in action

I’m trying GameFly for the first time in forever and the price and service are good but it’s extremely hard to get the newer releases. I sat around waiting for a week with nothing shipped until I settled for an older game
