We as a society are plagued by the “first and only learned” thing. People don’t look or consider anything but the first thing that sounds like it’ll make someone sound smart they’ll stick to it.

Every fucking time I fill one out it feels wrong.

I have working on a thought of how if the chat bot future comes, a big if, it’ll require a lot of passive news consumers to become active searchers. Something I’m fairly dubious of.

But it does show that these people don’t search actively and only use confirming sources if they do.
