The territories north of the Empire are derogatorily named The Chaos by all official sources within both the Summerstone Covenant and the Royal Magisterium.
It’s so weird having favourite places in this world, logically I know it’s not real but it is to me.
My partner’s favourite place is Floralen.
For me it’s got to be the town of Sleat, it sits at the foot of a family beautiful shimmering silver mountains. Also have a really unique culture blend.
I've probably posted it before but this is the current iteration of Andra's map, focused entirely on the Empire itself.
-To the West is the Kingdom of Boadia
-North & Northeast is The Chaos
-Northwest is the empty Glasslands
-There are other countries to the Southeast such as Quess
Only one thing remained in the room, his notes. Somehow his field notes and maps had returned without him, placed neatly on his desk in an empty room.
The room has since been kept locked for generations, and all who read his notes have now long since passed away.
A mystery surrounds his last journey into The Chaos however, as he never returned. When his magisterium study was finally unlocked to clear out, under the assumption he was dead, Magisters were surprised to find the room was already completely cleared out.
Much of these territories was actually mapped out long ago by Magister Goodwyn, now known as The Mad Magister. He made frequent trips into and out of The Chaos, drawing maps and keeping extensive notes, much to the derision of his colleagues.
The Chaos is named as such because the climates and even laws of nature behave irregularly in parts of it, challenging the accepted worldview of both the Covenant and Magisterium. There are rivers that run red, deserts that border deep snows, and lands where magic flows free and powerfully.
What is seen by most as one sprawling land of chaos is actually a complicated web of separate civilisations. There are the magically adept Goblin Clans, mysterious and powerful Ent Communes, small independent human kingdoms and even a large merchant city that rivals the Empire’s own capital.
Free travel into the chaos is restricted, though a blind eye is turned for a lot of the trade that occurs between Andran Lords and civilisations in The Chaos, as many foreign delicacies and oddities that don’t come in from the southern ports are sourced this way.

I’m fine man, I’m worried for another
Been dealing with a family issue that’ll be hopefully resolved on Thursday, but could also just be worsened.
