Just watched the first two episodes of Severance and WTF. I'm loving it.
Big thanks from me and my partner as well. Great recommendation.

I always tried to do that after clearing out an area. Read all the memos and I so love the sense of humour of that game (or of the devs)...
And then I found out that they also made Max Payne (three of my favourite games of all time) and that explained a lot. ;-)

I got reasonable far in normal difficulty but I couldn't just get past some of the more difficult bosses (the fungus...), I think that was about a good year ago.
I'll give it a try again, have to relearn all the controls (no pun intended), swallow my ego and lower the difficulty.

Severance sounds great, I'll give that a go, and the SR novels are definitely on my list.
I played Bioshock 1 back in the days, it was absolutely brilliant and I'm still afraid of little girls to this day...
Also want to try the Alan Wake games, same devs, same universe as control. But well, time...

I love the game Control, just everything about it, except that it is ridiculously difficult.
What exactly do you refer to? I'd love to read/watch/play more things that have a similar style.
