Yesterday's sunset. Sunsets...the end of something, the beginning of something else. I recovered a repressed childhood memory last night. I witnessed the passing of someone close to me when I was almost 3. That sunset was a long time ago, but it stayed with me.

This is a very lovely flower. I love the way it ruffles in the middle...it reminds me of a ball dahlia.

I really like it. That rainbow circle sings of magic and fantasy worlds.

My bad eyesight is to blame 😅 I thought there was a vase of red flowers next to the woman in the painting. After I wrote and posted the haiku, I zoomed in anf realised it's actually a bowl of fruit. Oops.

Lovely to meet you too. I like seeing images and other art/poetry matched to my haiku, so I'm happy with it. It's almost like an impromptu creative collaboration, and I am all down for that 👍
