None of this changes one thing about who we are. Trans people will still be born. Trans people will still exist.

They turn their backs on truth so that they can claim to be connected to this group - a group that has deceived themselves into believing they are right. You’ll notice that these people do not know you, but will say you are this or that…

I have no doubt that some will come to this post and make derogatory statements about me, about us, but why? When you live authentically your light is brilliant. It attracts them as it is something they choose not to posses.

They’ll claim we have to be defined by their terms, but that is an untrue statement. It’s simply their attempt to bully us into their definitions. It changes nothing within us.

Martin Luther King, Jr., reminded us that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” The progress we’ve made in my lifetime may seem to be taking a step backwards, and it might be uncomfortable, but we will be seen for our true identities.

If it feels overwhelming, just remember you are one in over a million. There are over a million transgender people in just the United States. If we were a city in the US we’d be in the top five by population

It’s easy to get discouraged right now. We know what the US House has done, we know what the incoming President has stated, but none of that changes Who You Are. They can force us to change what we do, what sports we play, but they can’t change our identity.

And yet - you responded to my comment on my page. If you followed your own advice and actually were someone “normal” you wouldn’t have replied initially as you “DGAF”. Your response indicates you do “GAF” and following your logic, you must not be a normal person. But thanks for playing.

My heart goes out to those who have been sexually assaulted and I hope that their attacker was brought to justice. The fear of another SA isn’t justification to ban an entire group of people from a restroom. The only logical solution is for the victim to use a single occupant facility.

She is rightly trying to keep the focus on why she is in Congress, to serve the people of Delaware. The statements today (Wednesday, November 20th) regarding restrooms in the US Capitol and Congresswoman elect McBride’s response are indicative of congressional business.

Dear trans community,

Sarah McBride isn’t our Martin Luther King Jr., at least not in this moment. Yes, she’s the first trans person elected to Congress, but she wasn’t elected because she is trans. Her identity is a fact, but it is incidental to her election.

None of this changes the price of eggs, reduces inflation, etc.

It just inflates her ego.
