I'm convinced that at least 75% of the discourse on The Life of a Showgirl has little to do with the album itself. Among other weird things about this Tilly Norwood situation, it’s surreal being a trans woman and watching anti-trans conservatives defend the use of an AI-generated “actress” that would take away work from women in Hollywood. It’s almost as though they never really cared about women.
