two more built

First mini built, Yes its in two parts so it'll be easier to paint the inside of the cloak

Next painting project has arrived

Well I tested out something with some mini's from a DnD boardgame I have. learnt a bit from it.

and i'll just add this shot too

I managed to treat myself yesterday and order this

last of my mini's have been zenithal primed and ready for paint

So. last of the colour done. just need to base them

well these are turning out better than i though.

Just attempted my first try and Zenithal priming. these started as black primed and got hit with white from a cheap airbrush

So. The shelve I had worked for storing my paints but access was a bit awkward so found a rack for them instead

so im now a fan of the white i used here so i might paint over it.

and the wings done. tried my hand at blending a little

First colour added.

I wasn't 100% happy with the shelves. after checking I can get 4/5 rows of paint on each shelf. I took the top shelf off and moved the middle one up. Used so odd bits of wood to raise the back row of the bottom shelf so i can work out how much of a step up i want for each row.

got the shading done

well i now have my paints stored on shelves. something better than the top of my wet pallet to keep my brushes.

damn she has shot up. last time i remember seeing a picture of her i'd swear she was only 1/4 the size she is now.

Well primed two mini's ready to do some painting. first time I've primed them one the sprue, and think it will be the last time as well

just realised I've not posting in a while. I should of mention the painting is on a break. I'm organising my room so i can have a second smaller desk for just painting. But i do know whats next on the list of stuff to paint, Vespid Stingwings

Just need to run some black around the rims so they are at a stage i'd be happy to use. for now they have been bluetac'd to a bit of wood till i can actually get somewhere to put them

well just the basing to do but their done.

only one photo of the last three to be painted. was planing to get three colours done but the cat informed me its gone 1am lol

first two colours added. black and brown.

and i'll add this. yes thats the better one. But given its going to get paint put over it its good for a first try with new brushes, paint and mixing techniques

well got the dry brushing done

Prepping for the next batch. might break into two batches but looking forward to using the new paints and drybrushes

Oh and the paint and brushes i picked up

one one of those very rare days where i went out and had to deal with people, But some paints and drybrushes have been obtained and had the nearly a foot long mop cut off the top of my head. Something about a fresh cut feels good
