I have a South African friend looking into remote MA programs in Sociology or Anthropology (to do alongside his day job). Does anyone have any recommendations for programs? We'd also love ideas for scholarships / fellowships to support this work.

If you are using Microsoft Word, you may be able use the internal transcription feature. If not, I find it useful to actually speed up my the audio transcripts and pause more often, than to slow them down. You may find that you get more efficient over time. I know its painful but you got this!
