Fireworks still going off randomly when not expected.
Some near.. some far away
Loki has been stressed out for the past 2 hours now.
Doing all we can to calm him, but little works.
If it was just one night, we could probably deal with that.. but it isn’t! It’s every bloody night for weeks !!!

We have tried many things over the years to try and calm him during “fuckwit with fireworks” season. Plug in pet relaxant aromas, tight fitting calming coat, turning up the tv, classical music.
This year, we have had him on pet cbd oil for the last three weeks.. no effect!!!

Today’s fireworks just started. Again, no idea who is letting them off, but it is somewhere nearby and the dog now totally stressed.
Daily occurrence.
This needs to stop.
Still no idea how @southlanarkshire.gov.uk can actually do anything as a random firework is so hard to report!!

So glad I decided not to stay home and watch the hearts v Celtic match.
Instead, I’m sat at a family meet up in a supermarket cafe while our new grandson is getting passed around for photo opportunities.. and nursing a rather mediocre latte.

Yeah, it can be a pain.
Remember once it took me off a dual carriageway to drive around the perimeter of a housing estate and back onto the dual carriageway I was on a junction down.
I’m sure they are getting back handers from petrol companies for us to use more fuel!!

The ghost is just frustrated that its constantly getting ignored and not listened to.
This is the exactly how I want to behave when I’m around my wife!!

Just in the defence of google, but there have been a few road closures in town centre that it knows about, so tries to divert around them.
I did however notice that one road that has been closed for a couple of weeks is now open (narrowing to single lane) but google doesn’t seem to be aware!

Bloody hell… hidden in plain sight!!!

I know McDonald’s do some nice sounding food in other countries, so had a look at the McDonald’s “world heist menu”…
Looks like they picked all the WORST items from around the world 🤢

I lent them to a “friend” and never got them back!

Almost as bad as my dream I had this morning
1st alarm to get me up at 3:50 goes off. I accidentally turn it off instead of hitting snooze.
2nd backup alarm goes off at 4:01 & I do the same again.
I then nod off & dream I’ve reset my alarm for 10 minutes later!!
Luckily, woke at 4:15 in a panic!

Just starting work.
Jump in my truck for the morning, and radio is playing smooth radio -boys 2 men - I’ll make love to you.
Great.. need to use my degree in truck radio tuning to get this station changed! That’s 10 minutes of my shift wasted!

Son informed me that they are dressing up for college next Friday… woohooo.. I get to do my thing again.
Bits and pieces have been ordered and I’m looking forward to doing my annual thing.
A nice distraction to work on. Can’t wait.

Had an email from Costa coffee informing me that the festive drinks are back, along with the festive cups.
Ahhh, Black Forest hot chocolate… it won’t be long till I can get one.
It’s a small thing, but it’s a little joy in the current situation we are in!

At least one thing that should come out of the Louvre robbery is a bloody good heist movie.

Eg: drop the minimum wage to £10ph. Everyone can work 20 hours a week, which is £200 per week on top of universal basic income. As long as UBI is set high enough to replace all benefits, the ability to work without being penalised would be significant. Puts more back to business to expand as well

Best option would be to give EVERYBODY a universal basic income. Everybody will then have enough to live on, whether they have a job or not. you could probably drop the minimum wage a little as all wages would be an extra bonus. Everyone could enjoy part time work and more free time.

The last theft from the Louvre prior to this was only 27 years ago, when thieves stole Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot’s Le Chemin de Sèvres.
What diversity did the museum blame for that theft?
Or all the other previous thefts?
When you are a high profile target, you attract this sort of thing.

They need to be made that only silent fireworks are available for retail once public.
Noisy ones available for displays on special dates only.
It’s the only way to find a happy medium.
We have had fireworks nearby, every night for the past 2 weeks. Our dog is totally stressed.
Silence them.. or ban

Today’s mood.. still nauseous.. with a hint of panic, stress and anger.

Also, Ayr is looking after me again tonight.
Horrible weather, rain, in Glasgow tonight.
Got to Ayr, and managed to make my delivery without rain.. so.. at least something going right in my life right now.. even if it’s not getting drenched on my first delivery of the night 😂
