David Autor might not be as plugged into tech as Acemoglu is, but he has great papers on the effect of all of this on workers and inequality as well.

Great episode, but you missed an opportunity to ask him about the effects of all of this on inequality, which is a thing he's a real expert on.

One of the best papers in all of econ is by his colleague David Autor called "Work of the past, Work of the future".

Search really needs to go back to non-content based signals - the original pagerank did that decently enough.
