I was delighted to be invited by The Honorary Consul of Poland, Prof Keshav Singhal CBE, and the Polish Diaspora to celebrate Polish Heritage Day at the Senedd this evening.

I attended today's Senedd Lunchtime Reception: Transforming Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Diagnosis in Wales, exploring ways to improve outcomes for people living with COPD in Wales.

I joined today's meeting of GylfinirCymru/Curlew Wales as Wales Species Champion for the endangered Curlew, at which I reported on my meeting in March with the Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change & Rural Affairs to discuss issues raised with me by Gylfinir Cymru members.

Responding to yesterday’s Statement ‘Volunteers’ Week’, I praised voluntary sector organisations for the work they do, but expressed concern at the “avalanche” of cuts in the sector due to the Welsh Government's failure to protect the funding for the vital services they provide.

I dropped-in to today's Senedd Biodiversity Day event attended by organisations who are doing vital work protecting & promoting biodiversity.

Today is #WorldAsthmaDay and I am raising awareness of the importance of having an asthma action plan to help those with the condition keep their symptoms under control

I had an enjoyable visit to @emrysapiwansch
Abergele this morning where it was great to chat with students & provide them with an insight into my work as a MS.
We also discussed their School Senedd & I was impressed to hear about their achievements so far this year

Today, I met charity @YLvsCancer
to discuss the key findings in Wales of their new report “The Cost of Waiting – The need for improved benefits support for young cancer patients and their families”.
