Locals, CPD, press, a few protestors and legal observers remain on scene but the feds are gone. Air is still foul from all the chemicals. One protestor found one of the gas cannisters feds were deploying into the crowd

This *also* means the government will be shut down for another ten days at least.

There is bigger trouble ahead for this economy.

This economy works well for a small part of the population - the super elite, maybe 10 to 15%. But not at all for the other 85 to 90% of people.

Even if you support massive deportation operations, under no circumstances should ANYONE be ok with US citizens being forcibly removed from their homes and detained without explanation.

I don’t see any reason to believe that they won’t keep going bigger, harder, more violent until they finally cross some line. I guess that line wasn’t shooting & killing an immigrant in the street. Idk what it will be. I just know each week, they keep escalating.
