Feeling a little better every day. The first month of recovery has been more about rest than I thought it would. I’m finally feeling like doing some of the many, many things I hoped to do!

Planes always seem to have names. I’m thinking about calling her “Marcia’s Gift” after my sister.
I’m keeping the landing gear up because I like to think of her reaching cruising altitude. My accent wall makes for a decent sky!

The docs want me up and moving every forty minutes or so. My physical therapist brings ankle weights. I’m settling for the heavier basketball shoes I haven’t worn in three years.
