Oppose the SAVE Act and Protect Voting Rights
I urge you to oppose the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would create unnecessary barriers to voter registration and disproportionately harm women and other vulnerable populations.
More than 21 million Americans lack access to the additional documentation this bill would require. While current law already mandates citizenship verification during registration, the SAVE Act would prevent most voters from registering with just their driver's license. Instead, voters would need less common documents like U.S. passports or birth certificates. This particularly impacts married individuals, predominantly women, who have changed their names and may not have birth certificates reflecting their current legal name.
The bill's reach extends beyond new registrations. Every time a registered voter updates their address or political party, they would need to provide these documents again. This creates repeated obstacles for women who move after marriage or divorce, forcing them to navigate bureaucratic hurdles simply to maintain their fundamental right to vote.
In 2022, more than 7 million Americans registered by mail and almost 11 million registered online. The SAVE Act would severely threaten mail registration and require complete overhauls of online registration systems. The legislation would also mandate frequent voter purges based on faulty data, which historically have removed eligible American citizens from voter rolls.
Perhaps most troubling, election workers could face up to five years in prison for helping register someone without correct documents, even if that person is actually a citizen. This chilling effect would discourage election officials from performing their duties and assisting voters who need help.
Laws already exist to ensure only citizens vote, including deportation for non-citizens who attempt to vote. The SAVE Act solves no real problem while creating substantial barriers that would silence American voices, particularly those of women who have exercised their legal right to change their names.
I ask that you oppose this legislation and protect every eligible citizen's access to the ballot box.

Luxury Musical instruments were purchased by the Pentagon "$1.8 million. That included a $98,329 Steinway & Sons grand piano for the Air Force chief of staff's home, a $26,000 violin, and a $21,750 custom handmade flute from the luxury Japanese brand Muramatsu."
Meanwhile:
In 2025, the DoD spent more than $7.4 million on lobster tail in four separate months: March, May, June and October. That had previously only happened once in history (October 2024).
September 2025 also saw the Pentagon purchase:
• $15.1 million of ribeye steak
• $1 million of salmon
• 272 orders of doughnuts for $139,224
• $124,000 for ice cream machines
• $26,000 for sushi preparation tables
All this while Congress approved cuts to SNAP, cuts to Americans access to health insurance, cuts to Veterans health care.
How can you justify this?
NO MORE TALK ABOUT WASTE, FRAUD, and EFFICIENCY while the Pentagon is buying lobster tails, grand pianos, fancy violins and truckloads of lobster tails.
No money for health care but billions a day for an illegal war & splurges on lobster tails?!
STOP THIS NOW. And learn some lessons from history.

All this while Hegseth -- known alcoholic with a record of spousal abuse -- spews dangerous rhetoric, posts memes and demonstrates his lack of experience and qualifications.
Congress has given away its constitutionally enshrined power of the purse for this???

Reject Mullin for DHS — America Needs Competence, Not Loyalty
I urge you to oppose the confirmation of Markwayne Mullin as Secretary of the United States Department of Homeland Security.
DHS oversees critical agencies including FEMA, the Coast Guard, TSA, ICE, and Customs and Border Protection. With roughly 240,000 employees and responsibilities ranging from disaster response to counterterrorism and border security, the department requires experienced leadership capable of exercising sound judgment and ensuring accountability.
Senator Mullin does not bring relevant experience in national security, law enforcement leadership, emergency management, or intelligence.
His public positions also raise serious concerns about oversight and accountability. After the killings of Minneapolis residents Renée Good and Alex Pretti by federal immigration agents earlier this year, incidents that sparked national outrage and federal investigations, many lawmakers called for stronger safeguards and oversight of immigration enforcement. 
Senator Mullin instead opposed additional restrictions on federal agents, stating he would not “handcuff the agents from doing their job.” At a time when public trust depends on transparent investigations and responsible oversight, this approach raises troubling questions about how he would lead the department.
The Secretary of Homeland Security must protect both national security and constitutional rights. The Senate’s duty of advice and consent exists to ensure that Cabinet leaders possess the experience, independence, and judgment required for such responsibility.
For the sake of public safety, constitutional governance, and trust in federal law enforcement, I urge you to vote NO on the confirmation of Senator Markwayne Mullin as Secretary of Homeland Security.
